Lexus GS 450h

The Lexus GS 450h was unveiled to the world at the New York International Auto Show in 2005, but it made its appearance on the roads in 2007. The Lexus 450h is a rear drive hybrid vehicle that derives its power from a combination of a 3.5 Liter V6 engine and an electric motor. The combined engines give the vehicle 330 horsepower that is maintained through a continuously variable transmission. The GS 450h weighs 1875 kilograms and can achieve a speed of 97 kilometers per hour in 5.2 seconds. The vehicle is equipped with a system that has a camera mounted on the steering wheel that checks on the alertness of the driver and sends out an alarm if it feels that the driver has missed an oncoming danger. The GS is equipped with leather seats, a stereo system with CD player located in the dashboard, Bluetooth technology and a moon roof. The vehicle has an option of a 330 watt surround sound stereo system which is manufactured by Mark Levinson, a system that helps the driver park the vehicle, wipers that sense rain, headlights that adjust according to the light conditions outside, and all-weather tires. All vehicles have air bags in the front, airbags on the side and air bags that protect the heads of all the passengers. The Lexus GS 450h is also provided with a system that calculates the angles of the steering wheel and speed of the vehicle so that it can help the driver stop the vehicle in an emergency.
